Ellison Travel & Tours is seeking keen and enthusiastic individuals who would like to join the Ellison team as Group Travel Planners.
The Role
The successful candidates will be responsible for developing customized cultural, educational, and specialized tour programs for groups within Canada, to the USA and internationally. The Group Travel Planner provides a high level of customer service, must work well under pressure and be a team-focused individual with the ability to adapt and support change. Qualifications
- College diploma or related experience well suited to a travel agent or meeting/event planner
- Travel-related experience or knowledge of the industry an asset.
- Flexibility to work hours including evenings and weekends as needed during peak tour season.
- A background check is required due to the nature of our business working with Minors.
- Accounting experience is an asset.
- Ability to build client confidence and ensure commitments to clients are met, demonstrating excellence in customer service.
- Technological proficiency including MS office, and ability to adapt quickly to changing technology is important in this role.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to accuracy, detail and compliance
- Learning and growth mindset is essential to success in this role.

VACATION BOOKKEPPER
Full time position out of our London and Exeter Ontario offices.
Ellison Travel & Tours is seeking a keen and enthusiastic individual who would like to join the Ellison team as a Vacation Bookkeeper.
The Role
As the Vacation bookkeeper you will be responsible for assisting our accounting team with bookkeeping and accounting administration for out vacation department as well as our corporate and public tour advisor teams. This includes CRM invoicing-related issues and commission administration, accounts receivable/ accounts payable, learning the travel industry and department duties and assisting with billing and settlement payments reconciliation.
You will be responsible for bookkeeping for there department areas and helping to ensure that the accounting administration being completed by Travel Advisors is being done correctly and corresponding to Accounting’s needs. You will help to troubleshoot issues related to our system– be a key liaison with the CRM support team, define procedures as necessary in collaboration with the Accounting and Vacation Management teams.

- College diploma or related experience well suited to a bookkeeper/accounting position.
- Travel-related experience or knowledge of the industry an asset.
- driver’s license and vehicle required.
