Arriving in Tokyo, Japan at Narita International Airport, you will meet your English-speaking tour managers. After a good night’s sleep in Yokohama, on your private motorcoach enjoy a sightseeing tour of Tokyo visiting the city’s oldest temple – Asakusa Kannon Temple. Enjoy shopping at Nakamise Shopping Arcade, an 18th-century beautiful shopping centre. Before your joint performance with a local school, explore the famous electronic shops in the Akihabara District. Start day 3 by with a sightseeing tour of Yokohama, visit the largest China Town in Japan, Yokohama Motomachi. Be sure to apply sunscreen as you perform in conjunction with a Japanese Marching Band outside at Hakkeijima Sea Paradise Park. Following breakfast on day 4, experience a Kabuki hands-on work shop with a former Kabuki Actor. Enjoy the spectacular scenic aerial views over the Hakone National Park by aerial cableway. Your next day’s journey will take you to Shizuko and then to Otsu, where your group will finally arrive on day 6, with a sightseeing tour of Kyoto including a visit to Kinkakuji Temple (Golden Pavilion), a Zen Buddhist tenok covered in gold leaf and Nijo Castle, built in 1603. On this day you will also visit Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine, established in 711AD, where people gathered to pray for bountiful harvests, prosperity and safety. Depart for Gion District of Kyoto – one of the most well-known Geisha districts in Japan with beautifully preserved architectures, traditional customs and entertainment. In Hiroshima on day 7, visit Peace Memorial Museum learning the history of Hiroshima and the advent of the nuclear bomb, focusing on the events of August 6, 1945 and visiting the Atomic Bomb Dome, followed by a community outreach performance in Hiroshima. You will conclude your tour by taking the bullet train back to Tokyo for your flight home.
