Your tour begins in England known for its historic castles, the Royal Family, William Shakespeare, the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, fish & chips, English tea, their black cabs and so much more. Enjoy an overview tour of London seeing such landmarks as Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, St. Paul’s Cathedral, and the London Eye. Your next day depart for Windsor Castle for a tour of the grounds, then return to London for dinner and evening theatre. Spend the day visiting the Tower of London, the British Museum, performing at a local site and an evening concert. Departing London, we head west to visit Stonehenge and Salisbury for a tour including Salisbury Cathedral and an overnight stay. Depart for Bath to visit the Bath Abbey, the Roman Baths Museum, explore the shops along High Street, see the beautiful Pulteney Bridge and check out Guildhall Market. We then continue onto Cardiff, Wales to learn about the Welsh history and culture, with an overnight stay. Moving towards central England visit Stratford-Upon-Avon, the birthplace of playwright and poet William Shakespeare with a visit to Shakespeare’s Birthplace, drive onto Warwick Castle, built originally by William the Conqueror and continue North to the South Derbyshire area to arrive at the South Derbyshire Music Center for an evening performance and overnight stay in Burton-Upon-Trent. Depart for Liverpool where the group will perform at the Albert Dock and visit the Beatles Story to experience the journey into the life, times, culture, and music of the Beatles. The following morning, we begin our long journey North into Scotland known for its bagpipes, haggis, and the Loch Ness Monster and arrive in Edinburgh for a 3 night stay. Start your day at Edinburgh Castle followed with time to visit the museums or attractions of your choice. Gather for dinner then enjoy a “Ghosts & Ghouls Tour” of Edinburgh! The next day perform at a local school, visit Holyrood Abbey, the Holyrood Palace, walk along the Royal Mile to St. Giles Cathedral and onto Princess Street for free time. End your day with a musical performance with the Scottish Chamber Orchestra. Depart Edinburgh for Stirling Castle where you will visit and perform before heading onto Balloch to cruise Lock Lomond to see if you can spot the “Loch Ness Monster”. You will then end your day in Glasgow for an overnight stay and a traditional Scottish Ceilidh!
