The Misatango Festival is a magical combination of tango and sacral choir music. Open to both individual singers and choirs, participants will jointly perform “Misa a Buenos Aires”, a contemporary roman mass in an authentic Argentinian tango style. Individual choirs will also have an opportunity to present a piece from their repertoire at this concert. After studying the pieces leading up to the festival, singers will have several rehearsals and workshops with Maestro Saul Zaks and Martin Palmeri to get inside the music, polish the interpretation to an authentic Argentinian style, and grow together as a joint choir.
