he National Eisteddfod is a celebration of Welsh culture and the Welsh language and is held during the first week of August each year.

The festival travels from place to place visiting north and south Wales alternately, attracting up to 170,000 visitors and over 200 stalls.

The festival has developed extensively over the last few years and has grown to be a lively festival covering all aspects of arts and culture in Wales, with the competitive element at the core of everything.

We’ve also developed our community outreach work, with the project over the two years leading up to the Eisteddfod itself being transformed during recent times.
