One of my most treasured memories was when I traveled as a junior high student with my whole grade on a school at sea program off the coast of British Columbia. The excitement of learning and seeing new sights was an experience of a lifetime. Many of the students had never flown on an airplane or left our parents. That trip sparked my love of traveling and the education that you gain from any travel experience.  Knowing that I wanted to be in the travel industry to help others experience what I had, I received my travel and tourism certificate from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology. I have worked as both a leisure travel and corporate travel consultant for over 10 years. More recently, for the past six years, I have been involved in large event planning with youth sports.

Travel has always been an important part of my life and I have passed that love onto my own children. I have been able to travel to many parts of the world Europe, Hawaii, Canada, Mexico, Caribbean and the United States of America. With each trip, I have gained a deeper knowledge of the destination but also of myself.

I look forward to combining my two passions, travel and youth education experience with your group!
