Group Travel Planner, Exeter | Year Started in travel: 2022

After family vacations across Canada and to Florida, and finding great interest in learning about cities, their history, and various landmarks in school, I knew that travelling was something I was incredibly passionate about. This ultimately led me to pursue an education in Hospitality and Tourism Management.

Throughout my post-secondary education at Conestoga, I had the opportunity to study abroad which landed me in Texas, Honduras, and Mexico. After 2 co-op terms as a wedding coordinator, my path initially led me into a career in event management. I spent several years planning corporate and social events, conferences, and tradeshows, though that certainly did not stop me from travelling. Using any vacation time I had, I travelled to Ireland, England, France, Spain, Iceland, Germany, Poland, and Cuba.

Travelling provides such a rewarding experience filled with education, culture, and new perspectives. Creating memories through travel is indescribable–like trying escargot and attending a cabaret show while in Montmartre, climbing Europe’s tallest sand dune–The Dune of Pilat, taking a first-class train ride to Wittenburg, and exploring numerous historical sites including Auschwitz.

As someone who many of my family and friends go to for travel recommendations, itinerary planning, and advice, achieving travel awards and honours throughout post-secondary, and an overall passion for travel, I look forward to providing you with memorable travel experiences to be talked about for a lifetime.

“Fill your life with experiences, not things. Have stories to tell, not stuff to show.”
