Cathy Woodley

Tour Manager |

Travel has always been rewarding and exciting to me.  I have been extremely fortunate to have had many opportunities to travel to destinations which include England, Scotland, Holland, France, Belgium, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Estonia, Russia, Vietnam, Thailand, Mexico, the Caribbean Islands, the United States and coast to coast of Canada!  Special highlights of my travels include: riding atop an elephant in Chiang Mai; blowing an alpine horn in Lucerne; exploring the lagoons of Venice via a gondola; the beauty of the Church of Spilled Blood in St. Petersburg; the Royal Military Tattoo in Edinburgh and riding a sampan boat down the Mekong Delta.

My experience with Ellison Travel began in 1997 when as the manager of a 55 member youth choir a trip was planned to Vienna to participate in an International Choir Festival.  As the tour manager of the trip I travelled with the choir touring though Amsterdam, Bacharach Germany, Salzburg & Vienna, giving the choristers an opportunity of a lifetime!

I value the experiences and learning opportunities given to students on school excursions as I personally had the opportunity given to me.  As a student, I travelled on school trips to both England and Italy. I would like to be part of the learning and adventures that students experience through group travel.

Having worked in the education field for over 26 years, I appreciate the dynamics involved from the perspective of the educators in preparing their student excursion and the attention to details required from the tour planners for the safety and security of all travellers.

It is now my pleasure to share my love of travel with your group and my goal as an Ellison tour manager is to help you enjoy your travel experience to the fullest!
